John W. Berry Sr. Associate Professor of Business

Rob Easley is chair of the Department of Information Technology, Analytics, and Operations in the Mendoza College of Business, having served in various faculty roles at Notre Dame since 1994. He received his MBA from Penn State University in 1989, and his Ph.D. from the Indiana University School of Business in 1996. Professor Easley's areas of expertise are electronic auctions, collaborative software, and information technology management.

Published widely in his field, Professor Easley has had articles appear in such journals as Production and Operations Management, the Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic CommerceInformation Systems Research, and the Journal of Business Ethics, and is a member of the editorial board for Information Systems and E-Business Management. He has taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and MBA levels, including Introduction to Business Computing, Decision Support Systems, and Enterprise Project Collaboration. Engaged in information technology within the broader University, Professor Easley has served on the University Council for Academic Technologies since 2003, and has led software development projects that have enhanced scheduling and collaboration capabilities.

A longtime member of the Mendoza College of Business Advisory Council, John W. Berry Sr. provided for the Berry Professorship through a trust. A Dartmouth College graduate, Berry retired in 1987 after a 41-year career with L.M. Berry & Company, a pioneer in the Yellow Pages industry.
