Leonard C. Bettex Professor of Electrical Engineering

A search is currently underway to identify the next Leonard C. Bettex Professor of Electrical Engineering.

This professorship was created in 1999, through the estate of Leonard C. Bettex (’62). After earning a degree in aeronautical engineering, Bettex served in the U.S. Air Force as a tactical fighter pilot, flight instructor, and squadron commander. He retired with the rank of major after 21 years of active service.
