Arthur O’Neil (’35), of Chicago, began his career in 1935, at his father’s W.E. O’Neil Construction Co., for which he eventually served as president and chairman of the board. O’Neil had a reputation for integrity in business. He was personally dedicated to the perpetuation and preservation of fair and good relations among labor and management.
